Do you believe in God, Bia?

I noticed that many people have asked me that lately... People say that is the kind of thing that People should not argue about, but... Anyway...
The answer is NO (uuuuhhhh... I caused a frisson now... hahaha)... Let me explain: what I have is FAITH... According to my poor understanding having Faith is more than believing in God... It is to have full belief that He (or She) whatever the name is, He/She is  always by my side and lets things happen at the right time, with the right people and only for our greater benefit
I can say that today I have a faith that a year ago was almost nonexistent... I believe that He (or She) is shown through small things, through special people for our lives, events that we do not understand... We have to stop being blind and realize that Presence.
That's why I'm learning to be grateful every day for everything that happens and all people that are part of my life... I'm still learning a lot and I still have much to learn... J

Girls chat

Let's have girls chat now... lol… Boys are allowed…
Yesterday after months my period came (stopped because of chemotherapy) ... I became a lassie! Kkkk...
Well... So far so great because it is a sign that the body is returning to normal! YUPIIIIII!
But there was one fact that I think it is the end of the thread... Simply the fim of human dignity... Hahaha..... Visualize the scene: my mother and the nurse (at least she was a woman... lol) gluing together a night absorbent (by the way, it looks like a mini diaper because it is so long) on underwear for me!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA...
After that does anyone doubt that a person in my position must exercise humility? Hehehe…
Anyhow I've said that to develop qualities it is always good! Anyway... This was just another exercise that I wanted to share with you... lol

People JJJ,

You will think that I liked the hospital... Hahaha:

1. I left 3/21 (Monday), happy an cheering... I went home in an ambulance... I do not recommend... Kkkk... It shakes as hell, and the patient is tied and is also kept with the back inverse to the car's movement.... Hehehe... I got home feeling sick... lol

2. I stayed home until Sunday 3/27) evening... Then I had to get an ambulance and go back to the hospital... I almost threw up on the nurse... I'm in the hospital since then... A week and a half passed... And I think it still takes at least until this weekend before  I leave

3. Do not worry because I have not returned because of the breast tumor nor the head tumor... I came back because of cellulitis.... kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... Yes, you read right... Cellulitis in the leg, making it swollen, red and hurts like dog !!!!!!!!!! I concluded that, definitively, the place of cellulitis is in the breech because it does not hurt and on half-light man does perceive anyway.... kkkkkk....

4. Okay... Let me explain: this cellulitis is not the same type of cellulitis that occurs in the breech... This cellulitis is caused by bacteria. This infection is cured with very strong antibiotics... So I had to be hospitalized to take these drugs through the veins... The bacteria like to eat Japanese beef... hahaha... They do not want to leave... Hahaha... The test results have not yet identified these bacteria, but I think the treatment is having an effect because there was regression of the area that was red, swollen and painful

5. Trying to identify the bacteria my doctors harvested material  from the place... Cuts were made... Uuuuiii ... Hehehe... The first collection was made on Thursday by Dr. Fernando... The second was made Sunday by Dr. Wesley... There will be small scars... Scalpel was used... Hahaha... Everybody wants to mark Bia’s little body... But who will takeit, huh? Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk....

6. I also have no more veins in the arm to put the access to the medicines (the arm're all black)... As antibiotics are strong, they burst the veins... To solve this problem they made a PIC, which is a kind of access made in the neck... If I'm not mistaken in jugular vein... Hahaha... No access for vampires, they will have to wait until the needle is taken... Hmm, although if they do not wait, they still can use the needle and straw... kkkkkkkkkkkk

That's all... I did not yet return to run, but only because of the cellulitis in the leg... Hehehe... The arm does not move, but I can already close the hand and lift a little bit... I think I go around handing out beatings, just to not waste movement... Hahaha...

Joys of my life,

This information is coming very late, I apologize for the delay... But think about the laziness of this person here... Heheh ... A so huge lazy to write with one hand... It will take as hell for me to finish writing this... hahahaha... But here we go:

1. The surgery took place on March 1... It took about 5 hours... Or at least that's what I remember... Hahaha ...I got out of the operating room already awake and talking with the nurses as usual… The entire tumor was removed... Ehhh... Now there is more place to create more junk... I spent less than 24 hours in ICU... Moreover, since the surgery I swallowed little clowns... Even brushing the teeth it is hilarious to me... If I will not take care Listerine flys everywhere... Hahahaha... The doctor said it might be a reaction to stress... Hahaha... Is this reaction is my so me,  right? Hahaha...

2. The result of the pathologic anatomy is ready... The tumor has characteristics of the breast tumor... That means it is a ninja cell... hahaha... It escaped the merciless breast and went to live in the brain... Either way it is a great thing because it is not a new type of tumor more serious... You see, the japa didn’t understood that milk is only given by the breast... But I wanted innovate, this is what happens... Hahaha...

3. The next step is to retrieve all the movements of the right side of body... Stir and stir again full arm and leg... Now I can walk around the bed (like dogs... lol) with aid... I do a lot of physical therapy... Lie! I have to denounce Maria Gabriela... Hehehe... She says she is a physiotherapist... But she actually makes me work out every morning... Hahaha... You have no idea what this is, I sweat too much... I get so tired that I am obliged to take a nap after lunch... Hihihi... But I can only thank all the physiotherapists here, they are wonderful... They are professionals who make difference in people's lives.

4. Today was also decided that I will make radiotherapy (5 sessions)... Sessions will be located where the tumor was... To avoid taking the whole brain (let's not destroy the brand new... They say we only use 10% of brain capacity... Imagine the possibilities... lol... In my case the chances grow since I'm not sure that I actually reach 10% before... Hahaha...) and exterminate any other cell that has been ninja... I’m enough as a ninja... Hehehe...

5. I completed one month in the hospital today... I got tired... I can not believe I spent all this time here! But you know what made me happy despite the enforced stay? That gave me the opportunity to review so many people... So many people I had not seen for years, it was worth it! Sometimes there is one way things are possible... And if this is the only way to be possible, let it happen, right? Besides, of course, friends and close relatives who are all so wonderful in my life are present all the time...

6.There is a light at the end of the tunnel... Monday I go home!!!!!!!!!! It was approved the home care and I can go home... Physiotherapist, doctor and some measurements will be taken at home... So from next week on, anyone who wants can go to visit me at home, at least can I offer a juice glass... lol

7. My doctors are divine as always... Doc Wesley is turning into a terror, he "catches" all my friends... lol... They want an appointment with him, and I'm getting jealous... Hahaha... Doc José Eduardo is a cute, he explains everything, he knows that his patient is a neurotic to know everything that is happening... And he said would tie my hands... Uuuuuu... What erotic.... Hahah ... Unfortunately, he said that because I've been scratching the scar and could infect all... Doc Fernando is a cute (no offense, cute for women is good compliment!), comes every morning to know how I am, give me information and talk a while how are things.... I can not complain about anything... They are all points of light in my life and for my life!

I guess I'm already tired... I will send more news... But now my left hand is tired... LOL

I thank everyone for all the outpouring of love... For all the cheers, prayers and positive vibes!

XOXO and I wish you all are as enlightened as I have been for all of you!

A few lazy days... After the surgery

The surgery took place on March 1st... It worked because I spent less than 24 hours in ICU... Now here I am recovering in hospital... As expected the right side of the body is a little damaged... I'm like the Sloth from the movie Goonies, remember? Hahahaha... I just withdraw my age right?

To tell the truth I'm tired of being here... I'm here since 02/18? The food is not bad you know... But the fun is the trafficking of goodies... hahaha... Friends are great... LOL
Despite everything, this period has made me very well... I am "forced" to work hard to humility... I think it was something that was always missing to me... To become a better human being sometimes life puts you in situations you do not run away... I hope to do well this time so I don’t have to repeat the lesson... hehehe…
I'll try to update the blog more... But these days I was a bit lazy... And also because I’m typing with one hand right? Gimme chance… LOL
I thank all the messages, prayers and positive vibes... All this makes me really well and helps me recover faster!

Surgery only on Tuesday - 03/01/11

Why?
Because people who are in the ICU are too lazy to breathe and move their feet ...So they do not leave the ICU… Hehehe... Bunch of bums! Kkkk...
Then, without the guarantee of free beds in intensive care for me, there's no way I operate... OK, there isn’t much brain to monitor, but it is important to preserve what I have right? Hehehe...
And why surgery can not be done tomorrow?
Because I still would not be the first in line (today I was the 15th) and then I would stand in complete fasting (not even water is permitted... lol) and there is the risk I don’t do the surgery again.
So it is delayed for Tuesday... Because on Monday Dr. José Eduardo - neuro - operates at another hospital... Then I would go as a priority 1 on Tuesday... At 7 o'clock in the morning...
I hope he awake at that time and operated me... So could go home... In the oooooooooooooother weekend... hihihi
I think someone here in this hospital is desiring my plump little body... kkk... But I'm not thinking this a romantic approach... LOL
Anyway... At least the food is good... TV with cable TV... Air conditioning... Jane and Ju (physio) are mega cool - they put me to roll the body down the hall, so my lard will not only stay still in bed... kkk...
Well the deal is waiting... Meditate... Exercising patience, tolerance... kkkk...

12º Bia's Health News

My hearts
As promised (you know me... I always I kee my word), here is a new informative... And this is full of fresh news! Kkkk... To compensate for almost a month and a half of silence... I think this information may shock some people, but do not feel tense... I will explain every little thing... Or at least all that my blessed ignorance understood... Please have patience with me... Hehehe…
1. Do you know that writing and typing trouble?  Well, it got a little worse... On last Friday I realized I right foot was tingling , so I began to test the sensitivity and everything was weird ... When I got my hands and arms I could not test them right... So... I went into the kitchen and stuck hands and elbows inside the freezer... kkkk... No, there was a surge of heat... It was to see if I felt the two sides equally... hehehe... Conclusion: I was not feeling like equally...
2. I wrote to Doc Wesley... Telling him discoveries of MY human body... hehehe... And saying that I had only managed to make an appointment with the clinic oncology for 15 March…  I asked if that was OK or if he thought it was urgent... I “guess” he thought it was urgent because called me on Saturday morning... LOL... He asked me to go to the hospital by the emergency and to get an MRI of the skull
3. They made such an MRI... After 4 hours... Because I had taken ONE glass of juice...Hell! Hahaha... Anyway, the test showed that there was an injury in the brain and I would have to be interned in the hospital to investigating and planning the treatment ... So... I'm here since Saturday... Sunday I didn’t made further tests...
4. On Monday I made tomography of the chest, abdomen and pelvic... Also, the bone scan to see if there was any tumor in any part of the body but... Apparently until now, no other tumors! AAAAEEEHHHH... LOL... At least I am not a breeder of aliens... LOL
5. On Tuesday I did a second MRI, more specifically to determine whether there were veins or strands that "carry" the information through the middle of the tumor... With the result of this examination they could choose the best procedure to be performed... The result of this examination was completed today and it was decided that there will be a surgery to remove the tumor... Oh, look how nice the "tinny tumor" of approximately 4.5 cm X 5.0 cm... Hahaha...  None of you can ever say you do not know what I have in this my little head... kkkk... Now we are all very close.... hahahaha.... See the photos... Now everybody's owe me a drink... Otherwise it is too messy... You guys fall into my privacy and do not even pay me a little drink to soften me... kkkk...
6. Well... The surgery will take place on Friday afternoon because we have to wait vacancy in the ICU, since the first day after surgery I'll spend there... If we don’t get this release, the operation will be performed on Saturday morning... If is fine, I will be released from the ICU the next day... And if everything is right I should leave the hospital on Tuesday...
7. After the surgery  they will do the anatomopathological to know whether the tumor is derived from the breast or is a new one

Some questions arise right? Hehehe... Let’s talk about them:
1. Where did it came from?
It may be a cell that escaped from the breast tumor (if it is that this cell is Ethan Hunt - Mission Impossible! LOL) or a tumor that was already installed in the brain
2. Chemotherapy should not have handled this?
The chemo affects the whole body... Unless brain... hahahaha...Hell! LOL
3. This brain tumor should not have appeared in the preoperative examinations such as the ultra-modern PET-CT?
So, this test is great for everything... Unless for the brain... kkk ... It is such a pokey this guy called brain... He enjoys an exclusivity... hehehe...
4. Risks of surgery
Normal risks of any surgery... On the head... The surgery will be performed by making a lateral cut on the skull near a fissure that exists at the junction of the bones... And from there the tumor will be removed by suction (Scooping the tumor... lol)
5. It may cause sequels?
Sure... Surgery is in the head... At least for 15 days after the surgery I should feel a reduction of motor and speech functions... The trend is that it goes back to normal with time... We just can not tell how it will take to be back to normal... You know the human body is unpredictable... But the way I am, there are people who will not even notice that I'm the sequel ed... kkk...
6. Postsurgical treatment
I may have to do radiation therapy... Not in the whole brain... Only on-site ... See!! We can not kill other brand new cells... Some have never been used... kkkk...
Anyway... I'm fine... Really .. The important thing is that it can be operated and I'm very optimistic about the outcome, after all I am in a hospital that is a reference and all the doctors here are excellent! Personally, I have much confidence in MY doctors... I trust on their ability! I'm in great hands!
Thanks to all the affection and friendship which makes life much more lightweight, fun and worth living!

"I'm prepared for death"

People this report that was conducted in September 2009 (Source: http://veja.abril.com.br/090909/estou-preparado-morte-p-78.shtml), with the then vice president of Brasil, José Alencar, I personally found it fantastic.
Everyone always has a lot to learn... Unfortunately we humans learn more through the pain than with love... Anyway, learning the pain has the advantage of being durable and can really reach the closest people too... If you reach one, it was worth.
I still have much to learn about humility, gratitude, life and death... But I’ll get there... hehehe. Read the it... Worth it!
"I'm prepared for death"
Andre Dusek / AE

The battle is not over José Alencar began last week, one more cancer treatment
Last week, the vice-president, José Alencar, 77, started another battle against cancer. The 11th treatment to which he undergoes in an attempt to control the sarcoma, an aggressive and relapsing cancer, first diagnosed in 2006. The approach now consists of four weekly sessions of chemotherapy. The chemo was decided by the doctors since the cancer Alencar, with multiple nodules in the abdomen, did not respond to a medication still experimental, testing at MD Anderson, a center of excellence in oncology research in the United States. Since the beginning of this treatment in May, the sarcoma was up 30%. The chemo is an attempt to contain the spread of the tumor. Visibly shaken, almost 10 pounds lighter, the reporter received Alencar Adriana Dias Lopes in room 215 of the Cancer Center of the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in Sao Paulo, while going through the first session of chemo. The meeting lasted about an hour. In the first ten minutes, the vice president ate two burgers and drank a glass of milk. Alencar cried twice. In speaking of his parents and humility, the virtue that he said taught him the disease.
How are you feeling?
Everything is great: pressure, temperature, heart and memory. I have an appetite, including – I just don’t eat pork because they don’t serve me. My problem is the tumor. I realize that the situation is at least very difficult - if not impossible, under the medical point of view. But as for God nothing is impossible, I delivered it into his hands.
Since when do you know that from the medical point of view, the disease is incurable?
The doctors came to that conclusion two years ago and just told me. And it could not be different because I always asked to be kept fully informed. The information reassures me. It gives me weapons to fight. I feel an obligation to be absolutely clear when I refer to the disease in public - nobody has anything to do with the cancer of José Alencar, but with cancer of the vice president, yes. A man with public public life does not belong to himself.
You often use soccer as a metaphor to explain your fight against the disease. You once said that you were winning 1-0. Another time, it was a draw. And now, what's the score?
Look, after all the surgeries in which I spent the recent years, now I feel weak to live the most satisfying moment of a match: vibrate when I make a goal. I no longer have the strength to climb the fence and celebrate.
As the disease changed your routine?
Minas Gerais (a Brazilian state) people usually assess a given situation by saying that "the train is good or bad." The train is getting ugly for me. My life began to change in recent months. I'm getting tired. The treatment I did in the United States gave me this weariness. Walk a little longer and get tired. Another fact that was dramatically changed my routine is the colostomy (deviation from the intestine to open an outlet on the side of the belly, where they placed plastic bags), inheritance of the last surgery in July. I make every effort to work normally. The work gives me the feeling of fulfilling my duty. But sometimes I need help. I have my wife, Mariza, and Jaciara (nurse of the Presidency) to assist me with the colostomy. When for some reason, they can not accompany me, I have two other nurses, Márcio and Dirceu. I am treated by them my own office. If I'm in a meeting, for example, say I'm going to the bathroom, call one of them and what needs to be done is done and ready. Without any drama.
Do you go through moments of anguish?
You should ask me if I know what's anguish. I would answer the following: I don’t know that feeling. I never had it. Since l was a boy and the disease will not change that.
The worsening of the disease has brought you some kind of reflection?
The illness taught me to be more humble. Especially after the colostomy. I always ask God to grant me the grace of humility. And he has been generous with me. I needed this in my life. I've always been a cheeky. If not, it would not have built what I built and would not have entered politics.
It is painful for you to practice humility?
No, because humility develops naturally in suffering. I am forced to adapt to a situation where I depend on others to perform basic tasks. I does not work if I get nervous with certain limitations. One of the lessons of humility was the realization that there are people much higher than me, as health professionals who care for me. This goes for doctors Hoff, Roberto Kalil, Raul and Miguel Srougi Cutait as for nurses and nursing assistants who assist me anonymous. I concluded that what I do professionally is of less importance than what they do. That's because my job has almost no direct effect on the next people lives. On second thought, suffering is enriching.
Such consideration would be a way to prepare for death?
Probably, yes. When I was a boy, a teacher had repeated the following prayer: "Save us from sudden death." What does that mean? It means that conscious death is better than sudden death. It gives us the opportunity to reflect.
Are you afraid of death?
I'm prepared for death as I have never been in recent times. Death to me today would be a prize. I became a much better person. That does not mean I had given up fighting for life. The fight is a Christian principle, inclusive. I live day after day fully. Because not even the best doctor in the world can predict the day of death of the patient. This is for God only.
Do you realized the national commotion that this situation has resulted?
There is no fortune in the world able to repay the kindness of the Brazilians. I am privileged. You can not imagine the amount of affectionate demonstrations that I have received. The other day somebody told me that when we die, I would find my father, who died over fifty years. That touched me deeply. If it is to meet with Mom and Dad, I want to die now. The hope of finding loved ones is a great encouragement - and a big reason not to fear the moment of death.
You have become more devoted because of the disease?
I am from a Catholic family, but I was never going to mass. Neither do it now. When things gets bad, pray the Lord. Lately, I have prayed about two, three times a day.
If you received the news that you were cured, what would you do first?
I would give Mariza a hug and say: “Thank you very much for taking care of me”

Beautiful People,

Firstly: HAPPY 2011!! (For those who I have not had the opportunity to personally see and embrace yet).
How were the holidays? Mine were great ... Christmas I spent at home... New Year's Eve Claudia took me to the beach to take the voodoo away... Just the in the mind.... Because I did not even looked at the sun neither entered the sea ....... I know, I know... You must think it is very strange for me not entering the sea? But I'll explain .... lol

1. On 28/12 I was did some stamps for the radiotherapy... Yes, stamps... They scribbled all over the body with pen... As if I was a beef.... HaHaHaHa.... You know, it's beautiful... You enter... Like a normal person and leave the hospita all scrawled and tattooed! Yes... Tattooed... kkkk .... They tattoo two dots to mark the reference points... hehehe... See? Now I am a tattooed person... kkk... Coooooooooooooll! LOL

2. On 29/12 I started doing radiotherapy.... Yeah, I thought I would start in January... But anyway... I started doing the radio... That’s why I did not even see the sun nor at sea.... I could not think of these things in order not preserve the skin... According to the doctor the skin would turn red and warm... AAEEEHHH.... Grilled Bia.... kkkk... Well, to help soften the meat and reduce these effects I had to make compresses with chamomile tea and spend some aloe vera gel (fancy name for it is is called babosa in Brazil.... lol)

3. When I thought that was all..... hahahaha... I was told a news... I had to make new markings to reduce the irradiated area in the last 5 sessions... Well, I think the guy liked me.... This time he used a pen that didn’t vanished for days and days... And stop I did I take showers! Kkkkkkkkkkkkk... Anyway, I also won two more tattoo dots.... I feel  like a mutant... Joint of beef, jaguar dots and redness of a turkey... kkkk... Well, I would rather have some more nice powers as Wolverine, but.... That is what I have now….  Hahahaha....

4. This “game” of roasting me continued until the last week.... There were 30 sessions... From Monday to Friday... I'm crisp toast now.... kkkk... The skin came out a little, but now it is getting pretty nice again... When the doctor allows me to sunbath I'll go a nude beach toasting the rest of the body... kkkkkkkkkkkk...

5. In 45 days I'll be back in radiotherapy is to see how my skin recovering... And in May I will have appoitments  with Dr.Wesley and Dra.Nirvana to begin the controls... I will pray to be all right... lol.... Do you know my treatment completes 1 year in May? Hahaha... I think I'll do birth party in March that it is my birthday and also in May... Hehehe... I do not like a parties right? Hehehe…

Anyway, I can only thank you for the past year because I learned a lot and now I think my mind and heart more open to continue learning... Also I am very grateful to have wonderful people like you in my little life!

Sorry for not writing more... But I'm having difficulty of typing and writing (hahaha... my hand writting was no big deal... now it's even worse... lol), then to compensate, I promise to write more often so I can write less stuff every time.... lol.... This difficulty of writing and typing may still be the effect of chemo..... kkkk... I thought I got rid of it.... But don’t worry it will not dominate me... I'm in charge here... hahaha.... Did you guys forgot that I'm bossy as hell? Kkkkkkkkk....

Jaguar

I thought they would scribble me once... kkkk... I was wrong!
This week I did a new simulation because in the last 5 sessions of radiotherapy, the area to be radiated will be reduced... Or rather, it will be more accurate... Right upon where the tumor was.
So.... They scribbled me again... I think the guy liked me... This time he used a pen that doesn’t erase... hahahaha... He scribbled me on Wednesday and the ink has not vanished completely yet... hahahaha... I'm taking showers, guys! Hahaha....
And he also made two more dots (tattoo) to mark the key points... I'm becoming a jaguar... kkkkk..... Will I get into the program to protect endangered animals? Hahahhahaha....

Beef!

There is one funny thing that I forgot to tell in the last post!
One day before starting to do radiotherapy, it is necessary to simulate the process and the do appropriate markings.... Well, on this occasion they measure all proportions, take x-ray spots, determinate the best device to be used and everything... Everything is measured thorougly and SCRAWLED!!!!!
Yeah! Scrwaled... They delineate the site to be irradiated with a pen and mark reference points with tattoo (they are only two dots)... kkkk.... Now I'm all drawn... Like a beef! Hahahahaha... Nothing more is missing in life... lol

I became a broadcaster!

HAPPY 2011!
Hey kids!
How were the holidays? I spent them well! Only in binge... hahaha... Because eating  is good and eating well is even better... kkkk...
The novelty is that I became a broadcaster... kkk... I’m doing radiotherapy since December 29th...
Seriously (as if it were possible to me... lol), radiotherapy started on 29th... Just over a month after surgery.
The cicatrization from surgery is going very well... ah, I also started doing physiotherapy (which by the way is a very important thing!) that is helping me to recover much movement, because I couldn’t move my shoulder!
Radiotherapy is doing great... It is super fast and I feel nothing... But now that I did the 5th session I started feeling that the place is warm, but it is not unbearable... The nurse told me to use compress of chamomile tea and some aloe vera gel on the local.
Soon I'll have baked boobs available... Anyone? Kkkkkkk....

10th Bia's Health News

From: Beatriz
Subject: 10th Bia's Health News
Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2010 20:46:10 -0200

Beloved and cherished ones,

The brand new news from this evening are that:
1. I removed the drain... hehehe... Think of a happy person... That's me! Hahaha...
Ah... It’s been 15 days since I took the drain off... lol... Yeah... You can curse me! (But if you were accessing the blog, you guys would already knew that... lol) Anyway, it was very exciting... hahaha.... First because it is a huge relief to get that thing that was hurting and aching... And second because it is impressive the length of the tube inside the skin... No kidding, it is around 20 cm of tube... hahaha....
2. After removing the drain, the nurses bandaged me... hahaha... She made a sort of lint top ... hahaha.... I was looking like an erotic mummy.... hahaha.... And I was told that I could not dampen the lint top for 3 days... hahahaha... At first I was looking like a mummy.... After three days of half bathing (during those really warm days).... I was almost smelling like a mummy... kkkkkk...
3. On Monday had an appointment with Doc Wesley and he allowed me to drive.... So I'll be back in the office next Monday.... That if my brother don’t cause me troubles because of the his car... hahaha... Because now it's interesting to me to drive automatic cars... so I don’t do much strength.... And because my right arm is a little hard... kkkk... Unfortunately it is not hard in order to be strong.... But in order to be locked in the same position (not really same, but I can’t move it widely).... kkkkk
4. For the reason stated above.... I'll have to do physical therapy.... hahaha... To get back movements and have the arm strength..... According to Doc Wesley we will keepn testing the arm to increase the strength.... In that way, the arm won’t swell (which may or may not happen ).... We have to test it.... He said that many people make a lot of exercises after the surgery... But I must have to be patient to do things within the limits... hahaha.... I know girls.... lol... I always do too much? So please, remind me to be prudent.... kkkkk
But I'll get back to the run trainings.... hahaha.... Because it does not force the arm and it will help me lose weight... hahaha... I have to eliminate some of that accumulated softness.... hahaha...
5. Next Friday I have appointments with physical therapy and radiotherapy... We'll do the programming for these treatments... The physio I do not know how long it will take... But the radio should take about 45 days because there will be about 30 sessions, made from Monday to friday at the hospital... Radiotherapy should begin in January.
6. Oh.... I was forgetting to tell about it... It’s ready the final anatomopathological result of the tissue removed (poor part of breast....lol)! So... There were some residual cancer cells... But for someone who had a 5 cm tumor.... That is a profit... hahaha... Moreover, the borders of these tissues were free of cancer cells... Therefore, surgery was a success.... In addition, axillary lymph nodes were all free evil cells.... hahaha.... But they were removed anyway... Just for prevent.

I think this should be the last newsletter of THIS YEAR.... Let's make it clear.... lol... But I always post fresh news on the blog.... Because everyone needs to shop (you can buy goodies for me that I like it... hahaha)... Finish work... Plan for Christmas dinner... Provide the stuff to the charms of New Year's Eve.... kkkkk....
To all of you who accompanied me during this year and had so much patience to read all the newsletters that I sent... I wish, from the bottom of my heart a lovely Christmas and a New Year full of pleasant surprises, prosperity, health, Love and... Above all THAT THE SUPERFLUOUS NEVER FAILS!!!! Kkkk......

Like a mummy

Yesterday I went to the hospital and Doc Wesley required the drain to be removed... Despite the drain was still plenty of fluids, my little body was already expelling the tube and it was hurting and aching...
I’m free of the drain! When I was taking off the drain I was impressed because there was at least 20 cm of tube inside the skin! But it doesn’t hurt to take off the tube!
After I removed the drain they bandaged me... Take a look, that’s funny....

I'm a little mummy right? hahahahaha....
Details: I can not dampen these bandages in 3 days.... In other words.... I'm looking like a mummy and in a few days I'll be smelling like a mummy....... kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Beloved and cherished ones,

Sorry for the delay in sending news!
Many things have happened since the last newsletter, but in the end everything worked out!J
The surgery should have been done on Tuesday but it only happened on Wednesday, because:

1. The doctors found an alteration on my liver, which at first my doctor thought it was some accumulated fat on liver (even as a side effect of chemo... It is not enough being fat out side.... I had to be fat inside too.... hahahaha.....)
2. An MRI was performed Tuesday morning on the liver. What confirmed it was a lump and not fat on liver
3. My doctor, as always very careful, decided to postpone the surgery and talk to experts in the area of the abdomen.... After that all my treatment would be rescheduled
4. On Tuesday at 11pm, my doctor was able to return to the room and talk to me (poor guy, he was tired after a full day of surgeries). It was concluded that the lump was not malignant (like Doc Wesley said, nothing in medicine is 0% or 100%), because it was not caught in the PET CT test. It is probably a ball of blood or something... This node will be monitored to prevent anything else. He also informed me that the surgery would be done the following day at 7pm
5. On Wednesday I went down at 9:30 am to do the tests and preoperative markings and only came back to the room at 4:30pm... I did the needling that is the injection of substances in and around the tumor (or what's left of it), placing a steel wire (does the breast look so fallen so that only rises to the base of the steel wire ?.... kkkkkkk) and injection for localization of sentinel lymph node (and then they paint the skin with a dye to mark where it is.... lol)
6. At 6:30pm I went to the operating room and returned to the bedroom at 1:30am... Everything went well and as usual I left the operating room chatting... But I slept for a few moments.... In one moment I awoke, I was shaking a lot, but it was not feeling cold then asked for one of the nurses to take away the heat that was warming me up.... hahaha... That's when I discovered I was using super sexy 7/8 socks... lol..... Look what a luxury.... or better luuuuuuuuuust.... kkkk... kidding.... This is against thrombosis stockings... hahaha....
7. The surgery also caused to the operated breast: a little higher up and slightly turned to the side... sniiiiiiif...... I'm cockeyed... kkkkkkkkk..... Ok, ok... It can not really being noticed... hahaha... but I told them to put the breast back to the axis  int the plastic surgery... kkkk... they promised me they will get them to the nines! Hahahaha....
8. I left the hospital on Friday... I came home and everything is going well.
9. Got to get back to the hospital two times a week for them to verify the dressings... The final result of pathological anatomy is not ready yet... But I must have this result on Monday. 10. I have a drain, which is what really bothers me... But that's okay.... It's better than leaving everything inside my body let it swollen and painful eh? J
11. I have the direction to move the arms (but not force anything or pick up weights) for the arm not to swollen.... kkkk.... I've thought it woulf be ridiculous to have A Popeye's arm! Kkkkk .... Nooooooooooooooo...... lol

I think this is all.... Now I will rest the Popeye's arm... hahaha... but as I promised, I am available to work bosses (Elias and Luciano) J

Postsurgical

Today has been a week since I had the surgery!
I went up to the surgery center at 6:30 pm and went down again to my room at 1:30 am… I went back wearing sexy 7/8 socks..... Look how beautiful.... hahahahaha.... It is elastic socks against thrombosis... lol

The shoulder blades and back hurt a lot because of the position on the operating table... Yeah, I was like Jesus Christ on the cross... But my luck is that He was there by my side and I came into this life... hahaha... You're not rid of me guys! hehehe....
I'm still with the drain, which is what really bothers me.... but all right, because the surgery was a success: only one quadrant and the lymph nodes were removed... The prosthesis was maintained... The operated breast that was is a little higher and bended to the side.... kkkkkkkkkkkkk.... I am cockeyed.... kkkkk.... I’m kidding it is not so noticeable.... But this will be fixed in plastic surgery... hahahahaha....
On Monday I went to the hospital to check the bandages and everything is fine too!
The orientation is that I move my arms (not above the shoulder line and wide open with arm) so I do not get the a swollen arm.... kkkkkkk ... Think! Visualize me with A sailor Popeye arm... kkkkkk..... I don’t accept!

Surgery TODAY!

Hummmm.... So... hehehe.... Yesterday Doc. Wesley informed me that I would be operated at 7 pm today.... hehehe ....
The nodule in the liver was nothing serious.... It was not fat, but it was not anything malicious... As he said, nothing in medicine is 100%, but it was discussed at lot... And the node will be monitored.
Well... Today I had breakfast and went down to the needling and markings for surgery.
I returned to my room just now... And in two hours will go to the operating room!
Needling section is not a cool thing... hahahaha.... Do you happen to know that a steel wire is placed in me? Hahahaha... Does the titties are so fallen that can only be raised with steel wire? kkkkkkk.....
And not only that! hahaha.... As a toast you win injection of t things into the tumor.... Injection of things around the tumor... And you also get a painting on the skin where it is the sentinel lymph node! hahahahaha....
The surgery should take about 3 hours... So.... Once I get back and I’m able to hit the keys on the notebook, I promise I update the blog again!

Surgery postponed

Today’s post is brand new! hehehe
The surgery would be today. Correct? Correct!
But... My doctor called me yesterday morning and asked me to intern at night as it appeared a sort of lump on liver... However, there was a chance of this node, in fact, be an accumulation of fat in the liver as a side effect of chemo.
Hahahaha.... If it's to be a fat woman, I have to be a full fat one... Fat nside and outside.... hahaha...
Can you imagine that fat accumulation in the liver can cause cirrhosis... kkkkkkk.... Are you aware that I could have cirrhosis without even drink alcohol? hahahaha.... This is the end? I should have drunk a looooooooooooooooooooot... At least I would have had moments of pleasure..... hahhahaha.....
Well.... I interned last night and today very very very early in the morning I did an MRI.... The result: It is a nodule.... It is not fat! hehehe
Because of this diagnosis (the node that had never appeared before in any other test) surgery is suspended.... My doctor is reviewing the case with the abdominal surgery team, which is more specialized in that part of the body, to resolve what will be done of MY little body... hehehe...
Probably a biopsy or other test will be done... But that I'll only know later.
As soon as I know, I tell you!

One of the truths I learned about life

I received an email that was like this:
"The fate unites and separates people, but nothing is so powerful to make people forget those that for some reason, one day made us happy.

There comes a time in life when you know
WHO IS IMPORTANT TO YOU,
WHO NEVER WAS,
WHO IS NO LONGER, AND
WHO ALWAYS WILL BE. "

This is one of the truths of life that I fortunately had the opportunity to have revealed to me! I thank for this disease to have the opportunity to increase my awareness and recognition of this type of thing, which, despite being something very concrete, I spent years without noticing.
It may seem silly... It may seem too obvious... But most times we do not take to our lives what is most valuable.

8th Bia's Health News

From: Beatriz

Beloved and cherished ones,
I'm back and I have many news:
1. The last chemo on 11/10 was very good.... but it last a life time... But it was great... I thought the hospital would be all mine because of the holiday... But I was wrong it was full as hell... hahaha.... Everyone decided to have the holiday in the hospital.... Go to the beach.... Go to the club..... Gee!! Leave the hospital for me.... hahahaha .....
2. I'm feeling really good... Even though I still have muscle pain... But Doc Wesley said that is normal
3. I had mini bread feet... lol.... Do you know when you crush a mini bread? Yeah.... My feet look like these mini bread... I pressed and they did not return to the place.... hahahahahaha.... but during thelast week they were much better...
4. Last week I made a zillion preoperative tests... they took too much blood and injected radioactive substances... hahaha.... I should be fluorescent so far!
5. Tuesday 11/16 I will do the surgery... 7 in the morning I'll be in the hospital..... Starving... kkkkk....
6. I will probably stay in hospital until thursday... Buuuuut... Doc Wesley said that he will let me go home on Wednesday if I'm OK.... hehehe..... To be OK is to recover from surgery and anesthesia... hahaha.... If he will wait until I stop talking nonsense to send me home.... I think I even live in the hospital... hahaha....
7. Visits... YES, COME TO VISIT ME !!!!! Whether at home or at the hospital!!
Hospital: Monday to Sunday from 10am to 9pm - AC Camargo (Cancer's Hospital) Rua Professor Antonio Prudente, 211 - Liberdade - Phone: 55 11 2189-5000 (near Vergueiro subway station - Vergueiro Street - near the Cultural Center São Paulo)
Home: SEE! Hahaha.... Every day, 24 hours a day, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays... hahahahaha.... if you want to go to my house, tell me and I send yiou a map!
8. After the surgery I should stay home for about 15 days because I can not drive to go to the office... then you can go to my house if you want.... Bosses Elias and Luciano, please do not worry because I'll be at home, but with the laptop on and checking emails, Skype and MSN.... hehehe...
About the surgery:
1. First: The surgery will be done as part of a treatment protocol. The tumor regressed much even to the point of not being localized, but surgery is needed to ensure that cells that perhaps even keep some remnant of cancer, are eliminated.
2. The principle is a conservative surgery, it will be removed one quadrant of the breast
3. Emptying the axila will also be done
4. The procedure is done under general anesthesia (so that I may come back pretty crazy - or crazier - from surgery... hahaha)
